Lowcountry’s Rails To Trail located in the heart of Northern Beaufort County, South Carolina.
10 miles long open for public enjoyment and when project is complete will offer 16 miles of trail.
Open dawn to dusk.
12-feet wide, paved and open for pedestrians and non-motorized transportation(Exception: motorized wheelchairs)
Six parking Trailheads available.
Open to pets on a leash; pet-waste stations available.
Offers beautiful water and marsh views and coastal wildlife viewing.
Open for recreational fishing on various trestles along the Trail.
Two restroom/port-a-potty facilities (Trailheads: Broome Lane, Depot Road and near Roseida Road at Parker's Convenience Store (see orange icons on map)
Note: Prohibited Items/Activities include motorized vehicles, alcoholic beverages, litter, fishing. waste, unleashed pets and failure to clean up pet waste.
ATTENTION E-BIKE USERS:Only Class 1 E-Bikesare allowed on the Trail. These are pedal-assist bikes that do not have a throttle. E-Bikes must stay at an appropriate speed to share the Trail with others and alert pedestrians by saying "On Your Left" when passing.
