ATTENTION E-BIKE USERS: only pedal-assist (class 1) e-bikes are allowed
The Spanish Moss Trail is a non-motorized trail. Exceptions: Motorized wheelchairs and pedal-assist e-bikes only (Class 1/no throttle).

SPANISH MOSS TRAIL TRAIL RULES
- Open dawn to dusk
- Speed limit 15 mph
- Open for pedestrians and non-motorized transportation (Exception: motorized wheelchairs and Class 1 E-bikes (pedal assist) only)
- Cyclists please slow speed and alert pedestrians by saying "On Your Left" when passing
- Pets must be on a leash no more than six feet long; Owners must pick up pet-waste (pet-waste stations available)
- Open for recreational fishing in designated areas
- Six parking Trailheads available
- Restroom (R)/port-a-potty (PP) facilities available at Broome Lane Trailhead (PP); Depot Road Trailhead (PP); Beaufort Plaza Shopping Center Trail Access businesses (R) i.e. Publix and area fast food); ReFuel Gas Station (R) on corner of Boundary/Parris Island Gtwy; Parker's Convenience Store (R) at Roseida Road Trailhead. Note: please consider picking up a drink or snack at any business where public bathrooms are provided.)
- Prohibited: motorized vehicles, firearms, vandalism, alcoholic beverages, smoking or drugs of any kind, litter, fishing waste, horses, entering private property near Trail, and events without approval by the appropriate County/municipal officials
